If you are too young to get a job, I would say that you shouldn't rush into anything and keep your options open. People's preferences change with age, so by the time you can get a job, you may have other things you are interested in.

What career counsellors don't seem to tell students is that most people change careers several times anyway. Overall I'd recommend trying as many things as possible to see what's the right fit for you.
Being a school teacher would require the most planning, education and investment. It also has the best job security and long-term earning potential. If you are willing and able to go to university, becoming a school teacher might be the best option.
Scenario 1: If you become a school teacher and don't like it, you could pretty easily get a job at a mall later on. Likewise, you probably need training or an apprenticeship to be a hairstylist, but I believe that would take less than 1 year to complete.
School teachers also have spare time during summer break/winter break - believe me, you'll realize how great that is once you start working full-time at other jobs.
Scenario 2: You could work at a mall to get some experience, while saving money for beauty school (or university). Later on you could become a hairstylist, and cut hair part time as you go to university to become a teacher. Many people work their way through university.
My point is, you don't have to decide now what to do with the rest of your life, you just have to decide which option to start with!

No one else can decide something like that for you... do some research, think about what you would like to do, check into what is required to get there. As an example, to be a teacher requires a degree and teacher's college... can you do that, and if so, are you interested enough to want to do that? A hairstylist has other issues to deal with, customer service is not always easy, and there are chemicals in the products used. Working in a mall means pretty low money and irregular hours. Think about what you really want ot do, what's worth it to you and do what you have to do to get there. It's worth giving thought to what you want to work at ... it's likely going to be a big part of your life. :)

Depends how much money you want to make. Is the career going to give you free time? What will the stress level be (high demanding?) Look at more options...what really interests you...like traveling, social work, politics. You need to look at a bigger picture of something you would enjoy and pays the bills! Keep your options open and don't fret over it...take time to explore a few ideas because you sure don't want to live your life with regrets because you rushed into something.

I don't know you to decide what you should be.
If you're into what's in style or like to do hair - be a hairstylist
If you love children and are smart - be a school teacher
If you can't decide on an occupation & aren't sure what you're good at - work at the mall

Hairstylists make more money and they get daily tips. If you're good that is.
