Someone told me that but I think he is taking that song too seriously.

There are to many songs out there that say to hold on till the right person comes along , Tell him to listen to those songs instead. The song he's listening to sounds depressing... No, our love for others makes us somebody , not the love people have for us...

Just because you're not loved and appreciated it doesn't mean you're not worthy of love and appreciation, so no.
But the statement 'you're nobody until somebody loves you' may refer to the fact that you cannot be complete unless you feel what it is like to be loved.

Thats actually a really sad way to think. But it seems that many people go from one bad relationship to another for that very reason. I think if your love yourself it should count even more.

It's a belief some people have, but it's not true. I know many people who have lived fulfilling lives without having someone love them.

I think when somebody you love loves you, then you life lives on. But if you find out wome weirdo likes you, your life is over.

I used to think that until I finally decided I would love me. Then I met my future husband. :) It seems like giving up on that notion freed my heart for someone.
