Sorry , but I dont see a troop increase heping anything in Iraq. I do however ,believe its hawk George Bush's getting troops in place for the inevitable war with Iran . Some incident will soon happen (cough, cough) , that will justify this new invasion policy , that is about to go forth .

Right on girl, your heading in the right direction, I just don't look into one side of the story and this one has a double edge to it.

Look! Bush wants total control of the Middle East very simple what this egotistical pres wants, he's got Israel who's already made a case of showing off! that they are making plans to bomb Iran's nuclear plants, this was an implant in the news to add more emphasis on the words of Bush who's highly awaited "surge" came forth, he started it on Monday, ha ha ha, can't do anything to me, try and vote on this one, pathetic.

Bush is stuck between a rock and a hard place. My cousin is a Captain in the Marines and just returned for a second tour of duty in Iraq. He said that the troops are about to be stretched as thin as they ever have been between (Afghanistan, Iraq, and Somalia)

I agree that it certainly seems like all the makings for an Iran invasion are in place. Was the need for troops in Iraq less necessary 6 months ago, or a year...NO. The only reason to move troops there now is to use Iraq as a staging area.

It's certainly possible, isn't it? But I seriously doubt the U.S. would go in that direction. Bush is taking enough heat as it is in proposing an escalation. Senator Carl Levin (Michigan) will support this change only if Bush can promise there will be a reduction in troops within six months.

I don't. There's no way possible the U.S. could invade Iran. That would be simply too much for the world to watch again.
