My due date is Jan 24th and I started dilating 2 weeks ago but was only 1/2 cm and it didn't change yet. I have a doctors appointment tomorrow 1/12/07. I have a lot of pressure but not to many contractions. When i do have contractions the baby goes bonkers so i can't tell if the contractions are real or if something is wrong. Everyone i talk to has never had this happen. I am not scared just concerned since this is my first pregnancy.

You should still let your Dr. know. They may want to do a non stress test just to make sure the reactions are normal.

It sounds like the baby is ready.I`m surprized that youre friends told you that they`ve never heard of this, because thats one thing that I especially remember. When the contractions came the baby like balled up in a ball and flipped and turned, just as if it were having contractions as well. So I have to say it`s normal!

particular you concern for no longer something. I measured small all for the era of my being pregnant. plenty so as that my healthcare expert ordered ultrasound after ultrasound to envision the babys strengthen. i replaced into very apprehensive yet each and every thing constantly regarded super. I introduced a healthful woman new child Oct 9th. She weighed 5lbs 14 oz. and replaced into 19 inches. She now weighs thirteen pounds! And is turning out to be like a weed. as long as you're looking after your self your toddler would be positive. do no longer concern! additionally i'm a tremendously small individual myself and my healthcare expert instructed me that must be the explanation why I had one among these small abdomen. purely be happy which you're no longer as uncomfortable as maximum pregnant women human beings, plus i think of it is hassle-free to do alot greater issues than maximum at 9 months. I rode a motorbike regular til i replaced into 8 a million/2 months pregnant.

I had that same reaction with my second baby. He was twisting and turning like crazy. Just wanted to come out, I guess. It's a good thing that you have your appointment tomorrow, but if it continues through the night, I would give the doctor a call. Besdies...who says OBGYN's should get any sleep. :>)

The baby is just reacting to the movement. If the baby DOESN'T move much, then you need to call your doctor.
