The latest poll has the idea opposed by 61% of Americans and favored by only 36%. And only 26% now supports Bush's Iraq strategy - an all time low.

bigsey says a poll isn't credible unless he was personally asked. Crack a statistics book, my friend, and then take your issue up with the "amateurs" over at Gallup.

How on earth can a person that has no military experience, never been in combat, matter of fact didn't finish out his stateside commitment, go against his military people on the ground and make a decision like this. Then you got to consider that he took us there based on his lies. He has an evil agenda, oil prices are slipping and if you cause more chaos in the middle east the prices will go back up. Watch the pump for a rise with no surprise. That is why I am against it, it is good to know that most of America agrees with me.

There is one thing you need to realize....You can't believe everything that is told from you from the news media. I'll give you an example.....did you get a call about this poll? Is there anyone you know got a call or letter about this poll? If your answer is no...then how did they get a percentage that high? Could it be that they're "making it up"? Taking a poll by region is also not accurate, as it doesn't accurately measure all of America's opinion. I would have never realized most of the lies that come from the media, had I not seen it myself. Best of luck to you.

And what makes you think that conservatives and/or Bush supporters favor sending more troops to Iraq?

Poll or no poll. The two generals who were there. (Who our president has now replaced) don't think it will work. I will listen to them.

Is that survey credible? Was I polled on it? No. There isn't enough range of surveyed people to determine that it's a true poll. It was probably conducted downtown in some liberal-dominated city to make Bush look bad.

Gallup poles have been seriously biased for decades. Her is the question.
Do you favor
1.more troops going to Iraq to die or
2.bring them home and give them puppy dogs.
We know the results before the poll is taken.

I see you've slithered into these boards since Yahoo closed the discussion forums.
Again with your biased poll sitting.....some things never change.
Conservatives are aware how much Liberal people like yourself hate America, and eats up those obviously biased polls. Ta ta, and good luck.

that number happens to be way less then a percent of the total population of America
