In the music video for the song "From Yesterday" by 30 seconds to mars, they recieve some kind of gift and turn into samuris, I dont understand the whole story though. Can someone tell me whats goin on in it?

in the begining, it shows that it is the princes birthday. and his servents ask him he can have anything he wants, he asked for the band to come...
they come,
and the gift is the samari suit, and they have to battle, like an entertament show while they fight
