a 15 year old girl got murdered this morning about 2 miles away from my house..She didn't go to my school. she went to the highschool. They found her body at an elementary school play ground.

I was just watching the news and every one is in shock because they didn't think that something like that could happen in a town like this.

They said that they have arrested a suspect, which happens to be a 14 year old boy (my age)

He most likely goes to my school.

I'm like totally freaking out right now... what if its someone i know or even worse some one i'm friends with.

Isn't this scary.

This isn't the first time i've had to deal with deaths at school. last year, a girl from the highschool died in a head on collision and another boy from my school died from natural causes.

I suggest you learn some self defense pronto. Take a class, and buy some pepper spray ,learn how to defend yourself and always be aware of your surroundings. Yes, its very sad indeed.

That was mean. But I've seen worse.

Update: Where I live, someone dies probably a block away. I just got used to it and learned some techniques to protect myself.

Yeah, but if you stop frying your hair he might not kill you. Also, don't give away all your personal information on the internet.. aka where you live.

You're asking for it, especially at 14. I doubt your parents would approve.

You will become desensitized to this sort of news as you get older. But it is disturbing, nevertheless.
Just remember to always be aware of your surroundings, and make sure that people earn your trust, don't just give it to them. Listen to your instincts - always!
