Personally, I think the McRib is a gristle-filled tragedy. However, it comes back year after year.

Fast food triumphs: I'll say that the milkshake and the pie from Mc Donald's are real Triumphs. And for girls there is the caramel ice cream. These 3 things are the only stuff good from fast food!

Triumph? Jack in the Box letting me get a fruit cup instead of fries and Wendys letting me have a salad instead of fries. I burned out on fries working fast food, and am delighted to have some veggies as an alternative.
Also, Jack in the Box having their breakfast menu available all hours. When I worked there, I'd order a "Jessie Jack" that was a Jumbo Jack made with an egg rather than ground cow and double the vegetables (Jack's doesn't charge extra for extra veggies).
Travesty? Burger King. They tried the BK veggie...but had no clue how to execute it. They put a pinch of shredded lettuce on a Boca Burger and call it a veggie burger. To add insult to it, they charge you extra for putting a tomato slice on. No. No, no!

Tragedy: MCDonald's McDLT, they kept the "cold" & "hot" parts separate. I never understood why they put the cheese on the "cold" side. Doesn't everybody like their cheese melted?
Triumph: Chicken McNuggets. YUMMY!

I am very surprised that the KFC bowls are doing so great. I think they look awful--like all the leftovers of a school lunch program put together.

I once had McDonald's Pizza and don't think that faired too well.
