That's easy! Just eat whatever your favorite meal is.
Try to target the consumption of this meal as close to 4:30 PM as you can.
This will allow your digestive system ample time to run it's normal cycle.
Later that evening eat some deliciuos dried fruit medley such as papaya, pineapple, and mango.
Drink plenty of water!!
Avoid pasta's and any beverages that have caffine.
Don't eat any heavy protiens late at night.
They will only keep you up.
And what ever you do don't eat any donuts.
Donuts just before bed will be one of the most difficult of all things to digest.
They should only be consumed early in the morning.
But not any for you in this case.
Be in bed by 10:00PM or just before.
Try to wake up early around daybreak with the sun coming across your face preferably.
Eat your Favorite Breakfast at your favorite breakfast house.
Make sure it is a well balanced meal.
Get plenty of vitamin B-12.
A good B-12 vitamin should cover all of your body's full range for B vitamin needs.
And this is important!
The night before your exams (Thursday Night) just before going to bed be sure and feed your mind positive affirmations about how confident, relaxed and refreshed your mind will be while taking your exam.
I wish you only the best.

Absolutely do not drink any kind of high caffeine drink like amp. The best thing to do is eat a normal meal on Thursday night but make sure it's healthy, good proteins, veggies, fruits, good carbs (whole grain bread/pasta). Friday morning eat something high in protein, this will give your body plenty of long lasting energy and you won't have a carb crash late in the morning. Find some good whole grain bread and spread it with a large amount of peanut butter and have an apple or banana. You can also have eggs and meat and some toast if that's what you're used to eating. If you normally have coffee or tea in the morning, drink your usual amount (not enough and you'll risk a headache, too much and you'll risk a caffeine slump later). And drink plenty of water through the day. The main thing is to have good healthy proteins for breakfast. Good luck on the exam!

Here's the reality check, there are no foods that make you smarter for having eaten them. Eat whatever you normally eat for breakfast and dinner. Don't go changing your routine all up just because you have a test to take. Getting as much good rest as you can is always important, not just for a test but for everyday living. Take full advantage of that opportunity now, because when you are done with school the opportunities to rest get fewer and farther between.
Here's what you need to be asking. Have I studied properly for the exam? Are there areas where I feel uncomfortable or unprepared? Answer those questions and follow up on the answer to fill in any potholes in your preparation. Don't spend any more energy focused on what kind of food to eat prior to a test. Energy drink are for morons. Drink water, it's better for you and won't cause you to crash an hour after you drink it. Don't drink sodas either. While the caffeine is enticing, you will face the same sugar crash as with the energy drink.
Just relax, finals are not the end of the world. It sounds like this is your first college semester (I'm guessing). Don't get so wound up, you will have finals at the end of every semester, and in grad school if you choose to go that route. Study hard, be judicious with your time, get rest where you can, and relax. The more wound up you are, the harder the testing cycle will be on you.

I have talked with people in detail about this when i was studying for my LSAT.
Do not drink energy drinks or you will crash and burn. It is important that you get a good night sleep 2 days befo'roe your test. This actually matters more because it takes you 2 days to feel sleep deprevation. so sleep well tonight. In the morning eat a normal meal (if you are used to it) granola is good. stay away from meals with a lot of carbs that can put you asleep. if you are a coffee person drink coffee right before the exam starts. The coffee will make you want to pee, but you wont notice it because you will be concentrating on the test.
I have a friend who is a Med student who specializes in formal test taking, this is what he recommended to me. it worked well, although since i do not react well to caffeen i did not try the second part.
Anyways hope i helped

Always drink plenty of water the day before and the day of the exam. It keeps your head clear. Don't drink so much water that your sleep will be interrupted to relieve yourself. Eat a well-balanced meal the night before, but no more than three hours before bedtime, and a protein-rich breakfast. Don't have an energy drink unless it is something you usualy have every day.

It's recommended that you eat foods that are high in protein & fiber and low in sugar. The best foods to imporve memory (but this is over time not a miracle) are fatty fish, blueberries and foods rich in vitamins C and E. I would suggest trying a normal breakfast of eggs, juice, and oatmeal and avoid the sugary cereals and bagels. (these tend to give the brain a quick rush and then an even quicker low.)

do not eat a lot of candy the night before, for it takes your mind down a concentration level (proven), and be sure to eat a good breakfast, for you are breaking the fast of the night. You need energy to get your mind working at full

that's crap what they say about getting a good night's rest and a good breakfast before a test. If you don't know the material by now, you'll never get it. good look. and uh don't take an energy drink because you might get sugar withdrawal syndrome before you actually take the test.
