supporse you made measurements for unknown liquid, the value you recorded of the empty beaker was 5.00 g too low. All the measurements were correct. how would this error seem to affect the mass of the unknow liquid? How would this error seem to affect the density of the unknown liquid?

If you know it was wieghed 5g too low, add the 5 and re-calculate. The mass of the unknown liquid would be affected by being recorded as 5g more than it really was. Hence the density would be higher for the same reason. Hope that helps.
