Why not make an appointment with one of your local beauty salon that also carry a make-up line. Then you can get some assistance with picking out makeup, putting on make-up and hair tips. Also you can always go to mall and let one of the ladies or guys at the make-up counter do your make-up. You don't have to buy everything at once but they can tell you what you should start with and what order you should purchase things. Just be careful because alot of times they try to sell you things you do not need. Good luck and have fun....

The best kind to get is foundation and the powder to match. Foundation makes your face look flawless and the powder sets it in so it will stay longer.

Use a a cosmetic disposable wedge to apply the foundation, and to apply the powder use a slightly big brush to swipe on the powder.

Never apply too much u dont want to look caky.

Go to your nearest Sears or whatever is and go to the makeup place and ask if you could get one of those things where you get a step by step process on your make up. They'll show you everything you need to do. Then go to a salon that has a good reputation and tell them your experimenting with your look and trying to find out what the best hair look for you. They will probably help you out alot. Good luck!!!

okay, first, EYELINER. Pick an eyeliner shade that best suites your complexion. close your eyes tightly, and gently take your finger and pull the outer corner of your eyes out as far as u can, then neatly, and slowly, glide the liner across your lash line, which is right above your lashes. second, MASCARA. buy some eyeliner, then twist the cap of, and brush it through your lashes. Third, BLUSH. Buy a shade of blush that best suites your complexion, for fair skin, choose a light pink, and for darker skin, choose a darker pink. Once u have the blush, rub it on the apples of your cheeks( if u dont know where the apples of your cheeks are, smile and the round part on your cheeks is the apple), blending out word. Last, LIP GLOSS. just choose any kind of yummy lip gloss (try clear colored) and slather it on!
hope i could help!

BLUSH- in front of the mirror, grin till your cheeks hurt. see the apples of your cheeks? apply your blush with your brush vertically, then horizontally. blend it a little with your finger tips. if you feel it's too obvious, you can apply a little to your forehead.
EYESHADOW- choose a shade that goes with your complexion and never choose any color that's the same color(even if its a different shade) as your eye color. Take the eyeshadow applier and in even strokes(try to use as little strokes as possible) on your eyelids. when you do this, don't scrunch up your eyes.
MASCARA-pull out the wand(never pump) and start beneath your upper lashes. start at the roots and work your way to the tips of them, wiggling it slightly from side to side at the same time.without dipping it back into the tube, use the tip of the wand and brush your lower lashes(horizontally) starting from the inner corner of your eye to the outer corner.
EYELINER- choose a color of eyeliner that goes nicely with your complexion. close your eyes and pull the outer corner of your eye out. then smoothly (try to use one stroke) and draw a line directly above your upper lashes. if you're using eyeliner PENCIL, it should have a spongy tip on the back. smudge the line you drew a little so that it looks a blends in a little.
LIPLINER- if you want to make your lips seem wider, trace the outside of your lip. if you want to make your lips seem thinner, trace the inside of your lip. if they're perfectly fine, just trace the outline of them. you can also use the tip of your lipstick as lip liner
LIPSTICK- fill in your lips after you have used lipliner(preferably with a brush)
LIP GLOSS- you can apply a coat of lip gloss over your lipstick so it doesnt seem so dry, or you can just use lip gloss without lipstick.
