It has the beginning scene of the video as album art, and plays the sounds of the video but doesn't play the video itself.
What can I do to fix this?

go to www.videora.com/en-us/Converter/iPod
and download their converter...
its a simple 1 click converter
and it saves all of the converted videos in the vidora program fliless

It is probably because you are pressing music on your ipod instead of videos, to watch the video click videos then music videos and then select the video. Hope this helps.

You have to convert the files to Quicktime........or buy a "Creative M vision it plays most formats.

If you convert your files with iTunes or quick times you should be good.
