Well, he couldn't possibly be under the Matterhorn of the Bigfoot because, as you've stated and we all know, the Matterhorn wasn't completed until 1959 and Walt Disney passed away in 1966. The Bigfoot wasn't put in until 1978, so I doubt they'd wait 12 years to put Walt's body there - had he even been frozen. Which he wasn't. Walt Disney passed away after he suffered cardiac arrest from cancer of the lungs on December 15, 1966. He was cremated December 17, 1966 and his ashes reside at the Forest Lawn Laboratory in Glendale, California.
Here's a link to a picture of Walt Disney's grave site...

Also, it wasn't sighting of Bigfoot in Canada that brought the Company to create an Audio-Animatronic Abominable Snowman. It was the hundreds of sightings that have actually been reported at the real Matterhorn (Monte Cervino) in the Swiss Alps.
Hope I could help!

November 2, 1966, for tests concerning the pain in his leg and neck. Doctors discovered a walnut-sized spot on the x-ray of his left lung and advised immediate surgery. Disney left the hospital to attend to studio business for a few days, then re-entered St. Joseph on Sunday, November 6, for surgery the next day. During Monday morning's operation, doctors found his left lung to be cancerous and removed it. His oversized lymph nodes were an indication that Disney hadn't much longer to live. On November 30. His health started to fail even more rapidly than expected, and drugs and cobalt treatments sapped what little strength he had left. Walt Disney died two weeks later when his circulatory system collapsed on the morning of December 15, 1966.
