I myself carried my son out front, but I'm also carrying my daughter out front, too. So it varies with each pregnancy. Some boys, like mine, are out in front, but others, like my sister's, were carried wide across the belly.

I think its just a wives tale. But in both of my pregnancies I carried all in front and I carried low. In my case, I had boys both times. But I know people who have carried the same way and end up having girls.

I thought that before but I am currently 24 weeks and my baby is all in the front, I swore as well as others that saw me that it was a boy, very very few said it was a girl. Well I just had my ultrasound and they are 90% sure it's a girl! I can honeslty say its a myth!

It is an old wives tale, however, with both of my girls, I tallyed up all of the old wives tales and each time they pointed to girls, they were right. They are fun to do and think about, i carried both my girls wide across the belly and high and this one is the same, so I just assume I am having a girl for now, I will find out in 2 weeks.

There are too many myths on what is what. Let me tell you something. One of the myths...actually this is not a myth. If the heatbeat is stronger...then it's a girl. I thought my last child was a girl...because the heartbeat was so strong. I was all set to name my "daughter" Rhiannon...however...my "daughter" turned into a son...and was named Jasen instead!!!! In short...don't believe ALL these myths...they will just leave you confused!!!

I am not sure what out front mean. I always heard if you carry low its a boy and if you carry high its a girl. I carried my son low.

No there is no truth in it. The way you carry your children only has to do with your body type, the amount of weight you gain, how many children you have or have not had previously, the size of the baby, and the position in which the baby lies in your tummy.

I wouldn't trust it. For some reason, I know that I'm about to have another boy (don't ask me how... I just know), and I'm carrying wide.
Instead of the ten pounds that I have REALLY gained, I look like I've gained thirty.
Don't believe everything that you hear.
