My little sister drives me nuts she gets everything and my parents try to tell me that it's not true even though I know it is. Okay so she has a horse and so do I, but I always have to feed hers when she stays in the house and watches tv. So last night I told mom that I wasn't feeding her horse anymore and you know what she said yep you guest it she said "oh well". So I just fed my horse and then I came back in the house but I felt really bad so I went out at eleven O'clock to feed him it was really cold and wet and now I'm sick because of her. Sometimes I just want to kill her. And just like ten minutes ago she was fine and she was watching tv with me and doing her homework mom and dad walk in the house and she goes crazy, she starts yelling at me and telling me not to hit her and I didn't even do anything. And you know what mom and dad did they grounded me for doing absolutely nothing.

You know what you need to do, and this is probably pretty mean.... but it sounds like she just needs to know you have a backbone and you can't be ran over like she's doing...

If I were you, the next time you two are at home by yourselves, get to the parents before she does. That's right, turn it around. And when she gets grounded, look at her and say, "We're even. Wanna go for 2?" And calmly walk away. Then later, sit down with her and say, "Look, I know you hate being grounded, and so do I. So, you and I have got to learn to either like each other, or agree to hate each other. I WANT to like you and have an awesome relationship with you, but you're being a total drain on me AND you." Just let her know that this has GOT to end. If she doesn't get the point, then feed her horse, with your parents watching you. Let them see you EVERY TIME you feed her horse, do her chores, whatever, and say, "Now, take a note that sis is watching tv...... and I'm doing her job. Do I get paid her allowance too?"

You might make some extra cash! And then, when she's wondering why she's not getting the same stuff you've got, don't answer her.

Good luck with it!

I am a little sister... and I drove my older sisters nuts (I probably still do!) haha.
I have 3 daughters... and they drive each other nuts.
I also have a son and they all drive each other nuts.
I have read it's partly due to competing for the attention of the grownups, even if you don't think you are.

It's ok, hun, just remember that when you are grown she will probably be one of your best friends (mine are). You will stand up at her wedding one day and be proud that your beautiful sister is standing there. Someday maybe you will both have kids and the cousins will love each other as much as you and your sister love each other. It will pass.
I also advise my kids to try and make the "good times" last longer by being kind to each other and try to shorten the harder times by being the mature one and walking away from the conflict without feeding it.

And I don't know what to say about the horses except lucky you. I'll come over and feed them both for you if I can ride them too! :c)

I have 2 ages 13 and 2.5 and all sisters are like that. Its hard to be the oldest because all the responsibilty falls on your shoulders. When they are younger they want attention, good or bad, and will do most anything for it, lying, stealing, and blaming things on others but the reason you went out at 11 at night to feed her hourse was because you probably felt bad for the horse because it wasnt its fault that your sister wont feed it. Its perfectly natural for younger children to act this way and she will grow out of it. All you can do no is dig in and endure it and she will realize how mich you do for her later on in life. Hope this helps :)

that's what little sisters do. she'll grow out of it. in the meantime stand your ground. if you are tired of feeding her horse, don't. or at least don't let her know you did. talk with your parents about her not keeping up with her responsibility to her animals. if they are truly fair parents they'll look into it. just don't get too upset by it because most little siblings are like this.
