What is the best film school in Canada (vancouver or toronto)? and the USA?

General consensus seems to be Vancouver for Canada and USC, UCLA for the US (altho check out NYU, but they may be more for acting and not film).

There are certainly more films shot in Vancouver. NYU is certainly up there in film but again the CA schools have more films shot there.

LMU has a good film program, as does NYU
