They quit like peas and cucumber! They might ignore it for a while though if they've never seen it before! Always keep some frozen fish food like bloodworm in for them - its aa treat for them, but will also give you a bit of a breahter to get to the shop if you run out of food. And although I wouldn't recommend it (my fish go on strike if they don't get regular meals) goldfish can (and I stress can, not always!) go for about seven days without food - they are greedy buggers and scoff so much theat they generally have a lot of body fat to keep them going! They are hardy little things!

I've never heard of them being fed grapes but a lot of fish will eat peas! I take them out of the freezer and defrost them in warm water. Take off the tough outer shell and drop into the tank. My plecostomus loves them! Cucumber and lettuce too! If you have fish or prawns in the freezer try chopping a little up and even breadcrumbs should go down well. As long as there is something available the fish will eat it if hungry and they will not starve to death.
You should never keep goldfish in bowls though! Far too small for them!

Yes Goldfish like peas - be sure to take the outer shell off them before putting them into your tank - you can also try cucumber & tomatoes (take seeds out before putting into tank or you will end up with plants growing in your tank). No they are not going to die but ive never heard of any type of fish eating grapes. I'd be careful with that if i were you.

Goldfish will eat peas, luttice, brown bread and chopped prawns. If they are only small fish you will have to cut up these into small pieces. they can live for a about two weeks without food

Yes, they can! What I do is thaw them out, then peel of the outer skin. If the fish are small, you may want make the pea smalle by cutting it. If they are really hungry, they will eat just about anything. Try bread crumbs too!

Peas are great if you are trying to cure fish constipation. A better food is just crackers or breadcrumbs. They aren't too picky!

Peas are fine, so are most other vegatables. However, a bowl is not fine. Peas won't kill them- living in that awful thing will.

yup. they're fine. husked peas, husked corn, peeled pieces of oranges, lettuce, cabbage, tiny tiny pieces of carrots. anything real. also, they love breadcrumbs!!
they'll be okay if they went a couple of days without food. just feed em as soon as you can.
good luck!!
