Hi I was wondering does anyone know what this is called. I'm trying to figure out what this piece of furniture is called. It's something my Grandmother had and probably bought in the 70's. It was a bigggg round chair and it had a cushion that went around the back of it. It was a really ugly yellow-gold color. Does anyone know what this is called?

My mother in law had one just as you are describing--she called it a chair but she always slept in it-- I'm thinking its still a chair.

i think this is a "COUIR" its a pourtmantue i hope it is a couch
