My first trimester! I would have bad headaches but never took anything for them. I don't want to take any additional medication because I am asthmatic and HAVE to use my inhaler sometimes. I hope this make you feel better but my headaches went away right into my 2nd trimester! Good luck!
24 weeks with my first!

I started to experience headaches at about 8 weeks and am still experiencing them now, about once a week, at 17 weeks. The pain is moderate...enough to make me a bit miserable, not severe enough to be called a migraine. I take extra-strength Tylenol gel caps, which do take edge off the pain. Sometimes a little bit of caffeine...a glass of iced tea...helps a little. They are often accompanied by some nausea. I find that if I lay on my right side and try to sleep, the headache will "gather" on that side. If I turn over to my left side and sleep a bit, I'll wake up with the headache on the left.

I actually starting getting really bad headaches just after cruising into my second trimester...around 13-14 weeks...my doc rans some tests and found out I was anemic and had to take extra iron. Since then, the headaches are gone and I'm just a few days away from my third trimester...
Be sure and mention the headaches to your doc. They could just be from the pregnancy hormones(which effect every woman differently!!) or there could be another underlying cause...

I started getting headaches in the last few weeks of my first trimester. By the second trimester they were so intense that i if they occurred i could do nothing except lie in a dark room and pray they would go away. My doctor then told me they were no longer headaches, they were pregnancy migraines. He gave me some medication but i refused to take them.. apparently they were safe for pregnant women but i just didn't want to chance it (irrational? perhaps - but i am a natural worrier! lol).
They finally subsided about 20wks or so - without the medication.
I am 26wks pregnant and haven't had one for over a month now - thankfully!!

My friend who is pregnant didn't feel them till week 16 and they lasted several weeks. Her doctor prescribed Vicadin because it was so bad. I'm 26 weeks and have just started to get headaches (I'm not one who usually gets headaches.) I'm not sure it isn't related to a bug that I may be getting.

I didn't get headaches at all. You might want to ask your doc about that.
