Thanks in advance for your advice. I am 28 and divorced (no kids). For all of you who are divorced and dating again, how do you decide the best time to tell your guy about the past? I would hate to drive away a potential love interest by bringing it up too early. Then again, I don't want to be dishonest and not tell him for weeks, either.

Why doesn't he already know? I'm sure he asked if you were seeing someone when you met. That's the perfect opportunity to get it off your chest.

Now when it comes up, he might wonder why the heck you didn't tell him, and if you are still seeing your ex? Was she getting a divorce while I was on the side? Why was it a big deal if you were divorced when we met?

These are the things that goes on within the mind of a man you hide things from and date for awhile and tell him later.

Tell him asap sweetie. I know us guys act like things don't bother us, but they do when we are alone and thinking. Trust me on this one!

have been in this sort of thing before and I always tell them upfront so they can not say that they did not know it if things develop further
