I understand that it is a dual core 64-bit, but does it run the memory bus at dual channel 64-bit?

DDR2 is in fact 64 bit memory is it not? I thought that is what made DDR different from DDR2, DDR is 32 DDR2 is 64.

I doubt it, memory still runs at 32 bit. But in dual channel mode, 2 bits travel at the same time. 1 going and 1 coming. But that doesn't make it 2x 32 bit= 64 bits , Not at all.

Well this is what I think: DDR2 can send 2 bits of data at the same time all by itself. DDR could only do that in Dual channel mode. So if you put DDR2 in Dual channel mode then i think 2 bits are going and 2 bits are coming at the same time.
