The environment of the earth is radically different now, then it was then. So, not so good. As you see with crocodilians, some that escaped the " great dying " may have been able to adapt.

That would depend on the selection pressures they were exposed to over the last 63 million years, as the world was very different climatically and geographically. For example, dinosaurs in Australia at that time apparently were adapted to low light and cold conditions close to the south pole. As Australia broke away from Gondwanaland the dinosaurs would have evolved physiological adaptations to handle the drying conditions as Australia drifted north into the arid zone south of the equator.
