My young son didn't quite make it to the bathroom.. It is a micro suede couch and only a year old. Please tell me I can save it!

Make a mixture of baking soda and water, about the consistency of old fashioned school paste. Let it sit on the area for 5-10 minutes, then blot thoroughly with a paper towel. You can also spray lightly with Febreze or Lysol, but the baking soda should work better since it will will absorb the odor rather than modify it. If this doesn't work the first time, try lightly scrubbing with baking soda solution and a soft bristle toothbrush. Since your couch is suede, you'll want to be sure and blot up any excess moisture ASAP so that it doesn't damage or spot your couch.
PS I hope your son is felling better, now. It breaks my heart to hear about little ones feeling sick.

I told this to someone who had dog smell on her couch.
You might want to consider hiring someone to professionally clean the couch the first time to get most of the odor removed. Our area it costs between $75 and $100 to clean a standard 8 foot couch. They have a special solution that pulls odor out of material from down inside where you can not reach. Be sure to tell them that is why you are hiring them. To maintain the fresh smell try going to your local janitorial supply store and buy an odor release solution. Follow the directions on the label. Do not use an air freshener, this just temporarily masks the odor, the odor release allows the odor to release its hold on the fabric and to dissipate into the air. You might smell the dog smell stronger right after wards, that is cause it is being pulled out of the couch which is what you want.

Mix Odor-Ban concentrate with a little water and spray it on the spot. You can also blot it onto the sofa. Odor-Ban is also a disinfectant.

We have a microsuede sofa and loveseat and had the same issue not too long ago...

Clean it as well as you can with upholstery cleaner made for microsuede or plain old dish soap and water, clean it as well as you can....Febreze...Febreze...and more Febreze...and remember to get it re-scotchgaurded so further stains can't set into your sofa...
