I'm a huge Death fan. Seriously, I think they don't have any bad songs. It really depends on what you want. Their first albums are more brutal, Human is the most technical, while Symbolic and The Sound of Perseverance are more progressive sounding. As for individual songs, Zombie Ritual, Crystal Mountain, Living Monstrosity, Lack of Comprehension, Spiritual Healing, Secret Face, Open Casket, The Philosopher, Without Judgement are some of my favorites. Oh yeah, their cover of Judas Priest's Painkiller is really cool, too.

Buy the CDs and find out. I recommend starting with Leprosy and Individual Thought Patterns.
