I have been on a diet where I basically only ate 800 calories a day. Last month, my period only came a day and stopped. then I visited a nutritionist and she told me I am not having enough nutrient in my body and tried to adjusted my diet. I started to eat around 1400 calories a day because i am afraid i might gain the weight back, but i was told to eat 2000. then this month, my period is 10 days late. ( I have been eating 1400 calories for 3 weeks)

I have only had sex once last month, with protection and my bf double checked the condom and it was fine.

But i am still worried to take the test.

can i be pregnant or am i just lack in nutrients?

It can be both. Low cal diets change your hormone and estrogen levels, effecting menstrual flow and a lot of other things. But 10 days late certainly sounds like pregnant to me. Don't be afraid. Take the test. Praying for the best for you.

It might be the dieting. I know when I do the Atkins thing my period goes wacko.
