She gave me all of the details. We always use the withdrawal method. We had sex on days 7,8,10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, & 16 of her cycle. I ejaculated in her a little bit around day 10. She had sex with this other guy, using a condom, which did not break or tear or have semen seep out the sides on days 9 & 11 of the cycle. I asked the guy and he confirmed the truth. He doesn't think he is the father but will step up to the plate if he is. I will, too. I really think I am the one who got her pregnant, since it was very unprotected and also very frequent during her fertile period. Everyone else thinks so too. Just wanted some more opinions. Please don't bag on my girlfriend. I will probably not remain with her, but this is not about that. I want pregnancy opinions. Thanks very much.

You need to plan to take a series of tests - a DNA test and an STD/HIV test.

Pullout vs. condom... Pull out is usually an eventual guarantee for pregnancy. I'm sorry for your situation, though, hon. I could only imagine how much that hurts.

I am almost willing to bet that you're the father. Just the probability factors alone point to that being the most likely scenerio.

Whether or not you stay with her is up to you, but I will say this: In some cases, a baby can make a damned good woman out of a girl like your girlfriend. Not always, mind you, but sometimes, depending on how old she is, she will settle down. Just my thoughts on it, though. Also, I've been on your side of the fence, and trusting is a bit hard after something as severe as this. I hope that you make the very best decision for you and your new baby.

If you still have any doubts, get a paternity test, but I'd be willing to bet that the baby belongs to you.

Honestly it could be either of you but since you had lots of unprotected sex the scales are leaning a little more on your side. I would wait till the baby is born and have a paternity test done just to be sure. Good job saying you'll step up to the plate. Just make sure that its not just with support but with visitation. Take Care.

More the likely the baby is yours.. but the best way to know for sure is to get a DNA test done when the child is born that way you know the other guy knows and the most importantly the child knows........and its no ones business to say things about your girlfriend it would be your choice to stay with her or not, but either way support her during this pregnancy and try not to let her stress over things..everything will turn out okay and remember to keep praying

First I apologize about the entire situation, not fair at all to get two huge situations dropped on you at once.
As far as you being the father I think it is most likely you. To be certain I would get a paternity test once the baby is born. Having a baby changes everything and it is truely a blessing. I hope all goes well for you in whatever way you want the situation to turn out.

I think you are being very responsible and so is the other guy involved by both saying you will be there for the child. I'd say it is most definitely your baby, but you might like to go for a dna test just to make sure. Good luck and good on you, many would have just left the girl to deal with her pregnancy on her own. I think you will make a great dad!

I believe there is a better than average chance that you are the father of this child. However, since there is a possibility that another man could be, I would make sure to have paternity testing done when the child is born.

Whatever you two decide to do, good luck to you.

I would get a DNA test as condoms are not 100% effective only about 97% and sperm can live for up to 3 days inside a women, so it could really be up in the air, you can get a DNA test before the baby is born just to be sure. but if you are willing to accept this child as yours then good for you i commend that. Only you two know what is best for you and your future

Get a paternity test before you become attached to the child or wind up paying child support for 18 years. You already said you probably won't remain with her. I would not take any chances, just get the test better to pay money now then to pay emotionally for both you and the baby the rest of your lives.

u did not say that u was going to leave this girl u stated " I will probably not " the best thing to do is help this girl until the child is born then if do a test just to put your mind as ease by that time u may wish to for give her and make a life together we all make mistake in live that dont mean we must not hav another chance u did not say she was a bad person and u hav the child to think about if it is yours

I'm placing all bets on you being the father of her child. Just because you pulled out and didn't ejaculate in her doesn't mean that sperm were not released inside of her. The pre-ejaculation fluid has LOADS of sperm and can easily get a girl pregnant if the guy isn't wearing protection.
