In the movie Saw 2, how does the cops son end up in the safe at the end?

The bald bad guy they had arrested told mark whalbergs character "he is safe, give it time I just wanna talk." He had him in there all along with an oxygen machine. Mark just had to wait and the kid would be "safe."

The cops were watching a pre-recorded tape. Jigsaw had put the son in the safe after the tape was recorded, before he showed the tape to the cops. The Dad, by the way, is NOT Mark Wahlberg. It is Donnie Wahlberg the older brother of Mark. For all those who've "seen" the movie, should've known that they may resemble each other, but they are not identical twins.

all the middle already happened and it showed the present were the cops son was in the safe. also the pig that hit the cop was the girl running away from the dude that was look at numbers n the back of the other peoples heads. she is with the old an helping him ( the old man dose all the torchoring) if u have any questions e-mail or IM me on street_carsgt@yahoo.com

the whole thing was taped and if the cop wuld've stuck around, he would've found out that the girls and his son were running from the man and after everyone was dead got the combination of the safe. He was put in the safe by the girl which had the antidote and oxygen until the cops could find him.

The killer recorded the whole video BEFORE he made the cop come.....so, the kid was in the safe the WHOLE time and the dad didn't know....if the dad listened and waited 3 hours he would have gotten the kid back and probably not gotten hurt.....but, the dad was a DAD and went to find the kid (who was in the safe) and the dad got trapped.......
I LOVE THIS MOVIE...the part where she jumps into needles is sooo nasty...and when the guy cuts off the skin on his neck.....i love the movie...hope i could help you......nice day

the parts of the movie where you saw the kid had already happened and had been recorded. then the old man had the video fed from another house. the kid had been in the safe from before the dad/cop got to jigsaw (the old man)

it was all pre recorded they went and set a trap for the cop it was the cop at the end he was playing a game with they recorded it earlier with perfect timing to make the tank of air last she brought him in the safe before the cops got there and were messin with the cops mind because he was a dirty cop and expected him to be brought to that house so she could leave him there to die

It was either him or Marky Mark who was gonna end up being in the safe, the cops sons was a last-minute replacement.

I found Saw 2 to be quite boring compared to 1 & 3 but still worth a watch.

He was in the safe all along. JigSaw had everything that showed the kid taped and after the fact took the kid and put him in the safe. So he was never in any immediate danger of dying from that poison because he had already been removed from the house by Jigsaw's accomplice
