I bet you aren't getting health insurance. At any rate, call your state's Labor Dept which is located in your state's capitol. They're the source of right answers.

You would have to read up on labor laws. Part time is up to 30 or 31 hours I believe. Full-time begins at 32 hours or more. U.S. Government Labor Laws... If you are being required to work that many hours, do your homework. Look out for yourself. Companies only look out for themselves. It may be a way of not Insuring you, by saying "Part-Time".
