My husband and I have just purchased a home with a real fireplace. Our inspector said it's mildly dirty, and recomends it be cleaned. Does anyone know how much the average chimney cleaning is?

make sure you do cause carbon monoxide kills, get a detector and smoke alarms.

gasoline fireplaces and flues are literally not built for timber fires. you'll burn the homestead down or have a huge smoke mess in case you do this. no matter if the hearth become once initially built for a timber hearth even as the gasoline log become conventional a sparkling flue become once also wanted so do no longer go construction any timber fires except think ofyou've got had the chimney inspected and approved for a timber hearth. playstation , an organic fee of a chimney cleansing is a ineffective little bit of understanding, you locate an approved chimney sweep close you and are available across even as they're waiting to e-e book you and also you pay what ever the going price is. You get what you pay for if you're fortunate.

The price varies. Figure $75-150 as a range.

When you find out, let me know. We just got rid of the chupacabras living in ours, and the redhead's unsure about firing it up.
