I've noticed in our workplace that two women can have the exact same idea, but if it is put forward by both, only the attractive looking one will get results. It seems to be the same everywhere. There's also no "solidarity" with the various women, they are constantly cutting each other to pieces. There sure seems to be some biases still alive.

Eh? Gee, I'd hate to work where you work. Usually it's the person with the most seniority and experience that gets the most results. (Note: PERSON)

Your workplace is in need of serious revamping. The business is in jeopardy if this isn't fixed. You're supposed to be a team.

Yes there are biases in the workplace but I think this falls under unintended ones. Many studies have also shown that taller men can expect to climb the upward mobility ladder more quickly than shorter men.

If a company wanted to address these biases in cases where there are two people of equal talent, they could always select based upon seniority.

Both are true. For women, attractiveness is extremely powerful, and they have little solidarity. The first one will always be true, but the second one might change somewhat.

Attractive people, men and women alike, have always had an easier time than ugly people. I'm sure there's some psychological reasoning behind it, but I don't know exactly what. (Good thing I'm attractive.)
