It's basically a pyramid scheme that involves a lot of people that must work with you if you want to get the free PS3.

Basically, it works like this. Companies will give that web site a fee for every customer that it gets to buy the product. So, the site gives out free PS3 in order to lure someone (like you) to get his/her friends to buy something from one of the advertisers. Once he/she gets 20 customers to sign up and buy something from one of the advertisers, he/she gets a PS3. So, if you want a PS3, you'll probably have to buy something and then get a lot of your friends to buy something. That's why you see all these sites popping up on Yahoo Answers. It's desperate people who don't have enough friends to sign up, so they figure they can trick someone here to sign up to help them. That's why every link has a referral. It's to tell the site who referred who, and who should get the PS3.

My advice to you, don't bother with those sites. It takes a lot of hard work, and in the end, it's not really worth it. Just save your money until you have enough to get a PS3, or if you're really smart in school, consider putting an ad for a tutor job. Tutors get paid pretty well. You can make 10 to 20 bucks an hour easily just by being a tutor.

The catch is probably you have to join something or do online survey. Or you have to refer some people to the site or sign for something. It probably for advertising use or information purposes. I try to avoid those adverts because you don't what might happen. Will I hope that helps . Take care and wait awhile for the PS3 it probably get cheaper in the coming year with competition of Xbox 360.
I would honesty get Xbox 360, especially with news of the new Windows Vista. I believe there is annoucement that the Xbox 360 and the new operating system for Windows enables you use your Xbox 360 as a PVR.....

Check it out.....
