I can discern Republican propaganda. Rush Limbaugh is a blithering idiot and we all know it. We just shut him off. He is merely unwelcome noise supported by the GOP I am sure... else why would any network continue to have him their "entertainer." That is all he is, an entertainer...a paid performer, a clown if you will, and why he can get away with what he does. Bad as it is....Yes, we know he supports everything that is wrong with Bush and the GOP and knifes any Dem for any and every thing.
Do not assume we are all idiots who have nothing more to do than to listen to the loud rantings of rabid clowns.

I strongly suspect it is simply a matter of confusion between the terms "commentary" or "opinion" with the term "News."
Another possible reason is that people enjoy listening to broadcasters that reflect and echo the listeners' views rather than knowing the truth.
