I may have a job opportunity that would have me move there from California.

My wife and I moved here to San Antonio 4 years ago. We really love it here. Great shopping at The Shops at La Cantera, Outlet malls within short driving distance, San Antonio Spurs if you like basketball. We have lots of Mexican culture and activities here around the river walk. Great dinning for all budgets. The scenery is really beautiful. College campuses are everywhere which means if you are looking for company, you'll probably find it. And don't forget about the Alamo. I would take a week visit here if possible before taking a job. You would probably need to see some of this for yourself, and also see if you like the climate. It's almost always hot here.

I have lived in San Antonio for 5 years and really love it. There is great night life here. There is something for everyone. The arts are really alive! There is a great art festival every first Friday in the Blue Star district. Its so much fun! Art exhibits, street vendors, music everywhere. What I really like is the celebration of things Hispanic. In many towns in Texas anything associated with Mexico is considered second class. Not in San Antonio! There is a laid back relaxed atmosphere. Come visit us and see!

its good, it has anything your typical top 10 size city has. Houston and Austin are better though.
