Well like most yahoo users you failed to state which platform you are using. But I'm going to be naive and assume it's the pc...

Ctrl + shift + C = the cheat box. type in: boolProp testingcheatsenabled true [only one space after boolProp.] then have anyone of your sims click on the mailbox but only if you typed in this cheat. it'll give you bunch of choices to chose from. when you want to turn the cheat off, at the end [instead of true] type in false. hope this helps

I don't think that there is a cheat to do this on the pc - though there are lots of other cheats - check out this site:

yes...press control shift C and then type in maxmotives... and motherlode for more money... and just ask if you want more.. lol
