Well, I am doing a project on the ancient roman circuses. My pet rat is going to play a lion. I am making a gladiator out of rat treats to make the lion eat the gladiator, but I don't know how to hold the pieces together and still have it be safe for my rat to eat?

Oh yes, forgot to add something, something safe for my RAT to eat. Rats don't eat frosting.

You are gonna have to use something edible for glue, like peanut butter or something.

Be careful with peanut butter; I had a rat choke on it because she ate it too fast. She survived, but it was scary, peanut butter coming out her nose and eyes...but she recovered all right.

maybe if you mixed, somthing like 2 parts sugar to one part water and used that to glue it together, it would dry hard like glue. you would have to try a few time to get it right, the ratio of sugar to water but it should work.

Try honey and give it a couple of days to harden.

Here are several recipes for "edible clay" that you might be able to use to stick the treats together. They should all be rat-safe.

You could also use gingerbread house frosting.
