I'm looking to purchase Sirius radio and I was wondering if you pay for 3 months of service and activation fee up front that they will give you a free unit. I would like the Streamer GT which retails in stores for $49 with a $20 rebate. Has anyone ever received this unit for free or has anyone tried and failed? Just curiuos. $49 isn't a big deal but if its avoidable then it's worth a shot.

It looks like right now if you buy the Streamer GT (which comes with a car kit) and buy the Streamer's Home Kit that you will be eligible for a $100 mail in rebate.
