I'd like to go to Jamaica for my honeymoon, but fiance is afraid to fly. I want to be able to experience the night life as well as the day, which I can't do on a cruise. Any suggestions?

No - but there is a cruise ship that will take you to the Bahamas from Fort Lauderdale it's called the Discovery - it's a 4 hour ride.

Bahamas are cleaner and safer than Jamaica anyway, unless you want to go to Jamaica for a specific reason -

There isn't really a "ferry" that can take you there. There are like you said cruises though. A ferry wouldn't really be logical considering the distance from florida and it probably wouldn't be that comfy either. I'm from Jamaica and I live in florida though so if they ever do think of a way to do it I'll let ya know!
