Your major expenses of travel will be FLIGHT, LIVING (food and shelter). You can do it for free, but it will require A LOT of research and PLANNING PLANNING PLANNING:

Flight: be a carrier as the person above suggested.

Living: Teach english in different countries to get spending money...and to STAY FOR FREE go to www.couchsurfing.com It is an int'l website with people who will let you STAY FOR FREE at their houses. It's amazing.

In order to pull this off and actually get PAID to travel, you are going to need to plan very, very carefully. I suggest looking into a website like i-to-i which can help with job placement, but will also show countries with a high demand for English teachers. YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE A TEACHER IN THE USA TO TEACH ENGLISH. YOU DON"T NEED ANY EXPERIENCE!!!

Often, you can find English teaching positions that will pay you enough to survive, and especially friendly countries many families will invite you home for dinner, as they have a tremendous respect for teachers. So, free meals. Hooray.

Hope that helps!

Good luck!

They have companies that pay for your travel expenses as their carrier. Of course you want to find legitimate companies, and you have to make sure you know each and every thing you are carrying (and no, you do not just trust them, you have to actually see the items yourself, and not let anyone else handle them after they're packed), especially if you're going in countries that have severe penalties for drugs. I met two people who did this, and they got to see some other countries without paying a cent....but they were only there a short time, since they could not actually bring their own luggage! I'm sorry I'm not in touch with them anymore so I can't give you details, but let me stress again that you need to be careful about choosing the companies you work with. Check them out thoroughly, and see if you can talk to some of their other carriers to see if it's something you would like to do. I know it's strange to think of carriers in this modern age of Fed-Ex and UPS, but overseas it's ALWAYS still 3 days, not overnight, and sometimes the products may be too fragile to send that way, and have to be hand-carried by an actual person.

On another note, you may want to read up about OBE's and Astral Travel.

A friend of mine once got enough money to get a ticket to Israel. There he lived in a kibut for 6 months (he has food and shelter as long as he worked in their farms). He said it was the experience of his life!
