I've got the S-video (yellow, red, and white) plugged into my tv, but I can't find the game screen on any of my channels

you need to change the input on your TV, not the channel. This basically tells the TV to look elsewhere for the incoming signal, ie the input you plugged you cables into.

look for a button either on the TV or the remote that says video or input. turn on the 360 and keep pushing the button input (or video) button until you locate the right one (the 360 pic shows up).

If your tv has a video button use it. Well if you have a VCR or a DVD player hook up your Xbox 360 through one of them they should have the S-video. Change the channel to what ever your VCR or DVD player is one and you should see the game screen on that channel.
good luck fixing it up!

Basically, changing channels won't do anything.
You need to push the "video" button on your TV or remote controller. It could also be called "source".

Look on your remote.

If it says TV/Video or Input then hit that button.... hit it untill you see it
