Lord of the Rings! Best book and best movie.

I also like 'His Dark Materials: The Golden Compass', by Philip Pullman. That is being made into a move, should be out in December of 2007.

Another great one is 'Sea of Trolls' by Nancy Farmer

Lord of the Rings, Eragon, Eldest, Harry Potter, Gregor the Overlander. Narnia is good also, but the first time I read it
I fell asleep. It turned out to be better than I thought after
reading it without falling asleep. ; )

Pullman, Philip......The Golden Compass
It's considered a "young adult" book but very sophisticated story line and well written. A good read for adults too.
