I watched the movie An inconvenient truth and it really touched me ?

Question

Ok........i want to make a difference in my country and get famous for that. I dont know what to do. I just feel i have to help stop global warming but how? I want to raise awareness and make a difference that will touch other people. One that will make me remembered for ever. I am a teen i cant do anything to hard though.

hey...yeah ok, i think you're concern for the issue should be genuine first of all...correct me if i'm wrong but i got the sense that you only wanna do it to be "remembered for ever".

if you are truly concerned, then i couldnt agree more. i'm starting university and i see no point in living in this era, unless we make some positive impact. I wanna do something, but it gets a lot of determination to start off, and a lot of will, so i'd suggest organising something with the school, then move from there.

You can start by switching all your lightbulbs in your house or apartment to low energy bulbs. They are fairly cheap, and they work just as well as normal bulbs. You save money on your energy bill too. They take a couple seconds to warm up to full brightness, but it's a very small price to pay for helping the environment. Here is the website to buy them

I replaced all the bulbs in my apartment with the cheapest ones ($4.25 per bulb) and couldn't be happier. They last 8 years too. I encourage everyone reading this to do the same. Where is the downside? What reason do you have to not do it right now?
