I have a P4 2.6GHZ on a 'ASUS P4P800 Deluxe' motherboard. I need to update my BIOS but I do not know how.

go to asus's page. you can get their bios flash utility. ive used it, its pretty simple.
you download the utility, and the newer bios. then you open the utility, and flash the bios.
find the specific model of your board off this page:
http://usa.asus.com/products2.aspx?l1=3&l2=-1
the deluxe isn't a standard model, you need to check off your chipset package.

get winflash and use it to flash a new bios.
