I went from a size 10 to a size 18. I know that for a fact because I got married at 6.5 months and that was the wedding dress size. It was horrible to know that. Even worse to know they would not allow a woman on the birthing chair if she was over 200 pounds. I started at 135# and weighed in a whopping 212 at the end. Gotta thank "Little Debbie" for that! I don't suggest doing that...it has been 25 years and I haven't weighed that since! They say 25-30 pounds is a safe weight to gain and at that point it is feesable to lose it after words. Before I got pregnant, I could eat everything and anything and not gain an ounce...today, just mere thoughts put on the pounds. My son weighed in at 8#12oz / 21 inches long and 3 weeks premature. Good luck to you and the bundle of joy to come!

I just recently had my 4th child and I had gained about 20 pounds by my 6 1/2 month and I gained 35 lbs overall. But, it all depends on how much you weigh before the pregnancy - whether you're overweight or underweight. I've read numerous times that 25-35 lb. weight gain is normal for most pregnancies. As long as you aren't measuring really big or small, I would say you're doing just fine. I was overweight with my second pregnancy and only gained 14 lbs. as my body compensated for the weight I already had on. Just remember...babies gain 1/2 pound every week the last month of your pregnancy. They use to say a 1 lb a week, but that has recently changed. Blessings to you and your baby. :)

i was never a healthy eater... and i mean this by me not eating as much as i should. with my first born i was 130 at the begining and by the time i went to the hospital to have him i was 201 and 180 when i left the hospital. now i am 8 months pregnant., at the begining of this one i was 140 and today i weigh 190 and funny thing is i still dont eat that much. not becuz i dont want to but because i get full really fast for some reason . i would even get right full after only eating half a bowl of macoroni,...
think of it this way
1- about 4 pounds for the placenta
2- about 8 pounds for the baby
3- about 4 pounds for all the water you carry including amnionic fluid.
4- member your eating for two now. plus all the fun cravings, ice cream with french fries ect... so about 10-15 pounds just by that lol.....

When I got pregnant I weighed 115 pounds and by the sixth month I weighed 135 and when I went into labor I weighed 150 pounds. They say that 25-35 is healthiest but everyone is diffrent.

With my first child (son) I gained only 16 pounds overall and he weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces at birth....with my daughter I gained about 20 pounds by my 6th month and 52 pounds by the end (and thankfully lost again) and she only weighed 7 pounds 8 ounces at birth.

right here you bypass...the Inferior Vena Cava returns blood to the middle from everywhere under the diaphragm, and passes alongside the front component to the backbone on the the main suitable option component to the aorta. tension in this reduces oxygen and circulate to the fetus as properly as reducing circulate on your decrease extremities. What this suggests is which you will desire to be "tilted" a minimum of 15 to 20 tiers to the left. a company pillow placed under your authentic section grant you with some "rolling" room to circulate from left section sleeping to a partial back sleeping place. in a while in being pregnant, it would desire to be too heavy to instruct over to worry. I pretty much only gained about 12-15 lbs with both pregnancies. Ok before you call me a *****, let me tell you, I was sick my entire pregnancy with both boys. I threw up all day with my second and threw up every morning with my first. So it wasnt fun. I had horrible pregnancies. I weighed less right after I had them and I gained the majority of my weight after I had my kids. Good luck
