Well, this is what happened yesterday. I was in PE and we had to get in groups of three and do thing thing where you bounce a ball and never mind about that, about 10 minutes later I was chasing my groups ball and Justin, this weird guy in the grade above me, was running trying to catch his groups ball in the other direction and I didn't see him and we ran into each other, he went falling forward and I went falling backwards, he landed on his head I landed on my butt. He's fine, I'm not. As I said, I can't run, bend over, lean back, but I can walk and sit and talk still. How long should it take to stop hurting and what should I do about the bowling thing with my class tomarrow, and I have a dance on Friday, and I have to go to a Christmas thing that we always do late.

OUCH ! That's gotta hurt*! It will get worse over night and you'll be in more pain tomorrow. There is no way you'll be able to bowl or go to a dance on Friday. Your best bet is to take something for the pain(advil or tylonol every 4-6hrs) put ice on your tailbone every 20min on then 20 min off then 20 min on again..to take swelling down. IT's going to be a nasty bruise and very painful to do much of anything..even sitting will be uncomfortable/painful. You should get it checked out if you start to feel pain down your legs, or numbness. It will take quite sometime to heal tho. Best see your doctor. Take care~ Good Luck~

Injuring your tailbone is never a nice thing. Depending on how bad you hurt it, it could take months to properly heal. If you are positive that your tailbone is not fractured or broken, then there is no need to go see a doctor. There is nothing a doctor can do besides taking x-rays and making sure its not fractured or broken. Probably the best thing to do is rest for a while (until you can do basic activities like tying your shoelaces without too much pain). Also make sure you don't come into hard contact again.

I hurt my tailbone almost a year ago, and only a month ago was I able to do sit-ups without much pain. 2 weeks ago however I hurt it once again, and it sure was pain full. After a week it improved a lot better, but it hurt considerably when ever played sports. Finally I decided to go see a doctor about it. The doctor made sure that my tailbone was not fractured or broken, and then gave me some medicated pads to put on every morning and night. Since my tailbone is not fractured or broken exercise will not cause any damage. The doctor told me that I am able to do as much sport as I want (its going to hurt however) but it will not do any damage, so its no problem. Right now its up to you and how much pain you can take.
hope this helps.

Unfortunately, tailbone injuries are very slow healing. If you think about it, it's surrounded in muscle. You will have a hard time sitting, pushing, and even going to the bathroom. Put a heating pad on it, and take anti-inflammatories like Advil. You will also want to take a stool softener so that you don't have to stress it when you have to go. I know it's going to be really, really tough, but try to go easy on it. Go to the bowling and dancing party, but just watch, if you would feel comfortable. If you start having severe pain, you'll have to see a doctor. You're young, and you don't want your back messed up so soon. Take care, now.

Steven Jackson, assuming he continues to be healthful. The Rams have extra some line help and he will probable be their finished offense next 365 days. So, he would be stable in simple terms based on the sheer volume he will touch the ball. type of like LJ, some years in the past.
