I was just wondering how much sleep time my 6 month old baby should be getting how much is to much?

My son slept about 4-5 hours a day, at different intervals. Every baby is different. However, at around a year, they should generally be down to 2-3 hours a day, not including bedtime.

I ALSO HAVE A 6 MONTH OLD. HE SLEEPS FOR ABOUT 2-3 HOURS DURING THE DAY ( EITHER 1 LONG NAP OR 2 SHORTER ONES ). THEN HE GOES TO BED BETWEEN 8 - 8:30 AND GETS UP BETWEEN 7 - 7:30.
DOCTOR SAYS THIS IS FINE.

mine has two naps a day one at 10-12 one at 2-4 and then he will sleep 9-530am
