trying to remove it myself and paint my block..it would help if i could find a site with pix showing the steps in removing body work(frenders in and out..etc.)

removing engine is not that hard first disconnect the battery then unplug any wiring harness fuel lines and any thing else hooked to the frame or the firewall then take the bell housing bolts loose i think on a 350 there 8 bolts after that un hook the exhaust and the two engine mounts and start lifting the engine out as far as step by step instructions go a Mitchel manual on your car or truck would be your best bet
