they will both go to the playoffs
absolute locks for that unless there are injuries and even then they could make it
if you are talking WCF the mavs have the better shot as they will most likely get a higher seed
the western conference contenders are mavs, jazz, lakers, and spurs
suns aren't good enough against the west and aren't built for the playoffs not beating any top teams

The Mavs (little brother) finally got over the hump (beat) against the Spurs (bigger brother) in last season's playoffs. There's no looking back now. Mavs all the way this year, erasing the pain from last year's choke job.
