What you want to do is enable WPA on your wireless home network. The following page provides step-by-step generic instructions for how to do it:

For more details, I'd recommend referring to your router manual.

You can Secure it by add the mac address of every wireless network adapter in your router, so your router will just accept connections from hose adapters only,it's best for you because when you install windows you will connect east without any ask for user name or password, you can try it by read the mac address on your network card and access your router and add it in the wireless configuration ...Best Regards..Ahmed

you will need to start by logging into your routers configuration page. Usually by opening a browser window and typing your routers IP address like 192.168.0.1
Then goto your wireless security options and enable either WEP or WAP security and put in your security key.
Then when a computer attempts to access your network it will ask for the security key. Input it and your in.

once you're going to ask a severe question, you are able to a minimum of communicate often and by no ability use ghetto spelling. i did not examine previous your first sentence (the extremely question), so let me answer that section. every person on a on the spot community, even even as it really is secured by way of an encryption key, is in risk of evesdropping. If someone has the right software, it really is freely attainable on the information superhighway, they could smash the encryption in a be counted of minutes and look at ALL site visitors to and out of your laptop. you are able to't avert this.
