Yes, it is safe. Take some Similisan earache drops. I have found that they help unplug my ears when I have a cold.

Yes its fine just take precausions. It all depends on whether youre driving or flying either way youll want to make sure theyre feeding or sucking on a pacifier during elevation changes to help their ears pop to equalize the pressure. Tylenol during the trip will help with the discomfort and once youre at your destination you shouldnt have many problems. Good Luck and enjoy your self.

My baby is four months old and we went up in an airplain and stayed in the mountains for exmas. She was excellent on the plane...did not even cry when landing or taking off and did not even have her soother on the plane ride home. I suggest giving your baby either a bottle or a soother to suck on so his ears do not become painful to him/her.

This is the same with flying. Just make sure that while driving up there he/she is sucking and swallowing. This "pops" their little ears, just like when we yawn.
