I keep having this horrid reoccuring dream that the world is at war again. The germans invate where i live and men , women and children are separated. Im left marching alone sometimes with my kiddies and sometimes i can't find them. When i look up at the sky there are so many bombs that it looks like fireworks.
I wake up petrified.xxx

It certainly strikes me that you are very sensitive. This can be an asset, even if it is accompanied at times by appropriate terror. You may be so sensitive that you are picking up the plights of literally tens of thousands of women - including mothers - all around the planet who literally are living through the unreality of war. The global statistics right now are truly terrifying. Thousands of mothers with their children are in fact refugees. Even if we are not directly involved, the world is not that big a place and some minds have varying degrees of psychic sensitivity. You may be picking up the sheer amount of difficulty that so many people actually face as we speak: no homes, no food, no responsible government help; insufficient world aid and so forth. Many of these women and children are being preyed upon by men in these war-torn regions.

As the world continues to increase its population the evidence is that these wars will become more frequent. More and more weapons can be manufactured and so will be used.

Personally, I would not look at your dreams as bad only - no matter how much pain or terror they may arouse. I would look at them as gifts, because they might be sensitizing you to the way others are being forced to live. They may be sources of information.

I have had dreams like this. Initially I thought they pertained to me, and only later did I realize that I was in fact picking up the circumstances of others. I hope your dreams will make you stronger in the end. But when you look at things the way they are around the world, and when you imagine increased instability, I think there could be a prophetic tone to these dreams.

In any case, your dream made me think about the global condition and the need for more thought as a global community as to the direction we are taking.

This may not seem like a satisfactory response to your dreams, but after giving it some thought, I thought I would send this along anyway.

I hope they settle down to some extent and lead you along a positive path.

I think it means that you're hearing too much about the war and other scary things. We see/hear so much negative stuff - it's gathered from all over the world and presented to us for 35 minutes in the news right before we go to bed.

Not to mention all the TV shows that focus on how the world is coming to an end. BTW - it's not getting "worse" - this is how it's always been. There have always been "end of the worlders" running around. It's just now the media brings it right into our living rooms.

Before bed, try to watch/listen/read something that is soothing or that makes you laugh. You might look into the meditation CD's from BrainSync or there's one called Anxiety Relief that you can find on the Isabella web site. Just listen to those before you go to bed, take some deep breaths and try to think positive.

If you wake up petrified, you can listen to the Anxiety Relief CD again to help you mellow out.

Good luck!

Not enough information. Dreams have many meanings.. Nightmares are conspicuous at best (I think inconspicuous is my word of the day today lol...) You weren't able to wake up? You wanted to or didn't? Could hear wind? Were you falling? Was it wind passing you, outside, close by, far away? If you weren't able to wake because you didn't want to, your subconcious could have been telling you that you were afraid of something, something your mind wanted you to face. If you wanted to wake up, it could represent something holding you back. Stopping you from waking up. Wind is a tricky one. Falling could represent trying to reach ones goals, but always seeming further away than when you started, or it could be your mind telling you you are falling down a spiral? Maybe look at moral happenings in your life, jobs, friends, loves, economical etc etc. If it were just a wind on its own, perhaps the wind carried a message with it? Think hard, were there words carried on the wind? Was it a fleeting wind? Hard blowing wind? The thing on your face, that could easily represent something you want rid of, but don't yet know what that something is, only the subliminal recognision that something inside you needs to be ousted. There is no set 'dream means this'. It depends on what's going on in your life and what is running through your mind. Could just be inspired from a film watched, book read, game played etc, or it could be a more in depth look at your life and what your aims are etc.. With only 1 basic paragraph it's impossible to tell for sure. Good luck!

Dreaming about a war or a battle suggests that the dreamer has internal conflict. One part of personality or psyche may be battling with another for control and the dream reflects this internal war. Another reason for dreaming about war is that you may be faced with a situation that requires you to be aggressive or assertive and to come to terms with opposition

I think it has to do with you feeling attacked, out of control of your life, or threatend by something and feeling separated from your family in some way. Maybe you need to spend more time with them doing things you enjoy togther. We all hear a lot of media coverage about the war(s). Its not always good to listen to the news. Besides the weather forecast, what good news do they ever give?

Dreaming is your minds way of making sense of what it experienced that day etc usually using metaphors for different things. You can control a dream by sub-consciously telling yourself " This aint real " when you start to fall asleep. It works fine for me.
